We were standing at the bus stop yesterday waiting to go to Celestra's choir practice when I took this picture. It turned out so cute I had to share it with everyone.

Wedding dress shopping

My friend Laura and I went wedding dress shopping today so she could get started on that all important part of the ceremony. She will be getting married in May. Here are a few pics of the dresses she didn't choose. (Can't show the one she is leaning towards just in case the fiancee tries to take a peek)
And then there's the fact that Laura and Celestra can't spend time together without being silly...

resulting in something like this tongue sticking out episode. Sigh, what do you do when your surrounded by children...
You add another child to the mix. This time in the name of Laura's fiancee Jim. We took him home before we went dress shopping and had him in the back seat with Celestra. He and Celestra goofed off for the entire car ride from Laura's place in Logan to his place in Salt Lake... I had a car full of children today, but at least it was amusing.

A wedding without pictures

My sister Melissa got married yesterday, unfortunately I forgot to pull out my camera. I had Mom Brown's camera for most of the night taking pictures for her and forgot to pull out my own so I have no pictures to share with you. It was a really great day but the best part was getting to see all my family again. Celestra had a blast with all of her cousins (even if they are all boys) and I had a great time getting to catch up with everyone. Melissa and her new husband Kyle looked so happy. I am excited for them and wish them the best.

Energetic Nephews and a Bridal Shower all in one

Tonight was my little sister Melissa's bridal shower. It was great to see the family again. Tonya, another of my sisters, brought her two little boys with her. Her baby is absolutely adorable and the two year old is definitely that. That little guy is full of energy but he's so stinking cute and a ton of fun. Melissa had a gift card shower which I think is a great idea. That way she can get what she needs and doesn't end up with multiples of the same thing (we can all relate to that one). It was a fun night, but my nephew sure wore me out. That little guy is a bundle of energy! I don't know how his mom keeps up with him. Koodles to you Tonya.

A little late but ...

Christmas in our household was low key this year. My mother came over to our place and spent the day with us. We just got to relax at home and enjoy the day. I made dinner, we played a little uno (I trounced both my mom and Celestra :) ), and just enjoyed each others company.
