Proving she's just as crazy as the rest of us

Well maybe not crazy but certainly true to part of her parentage. Maya, our dog, got to REALLY dig for the first time today. Living in the city makes it kinda hard for her, but she found a sand pit and went to town. Yes the hole she's in she made herself. Silly puppy.

Family Reunions, Flute Recitals, Puppy Playtime, and A little bit of Work

In betwixt all of our packing and moving, Celestra and I have managed to have a few adventures as well. First up was the Anderson-Lowe annual family reunion at Crystal Hot Springs. This year we were only able to attend Friday night due to Cele's rehearsal schedule. It's always great to get together with that side of the family, even if wind did try to ruin all the fun!

Next up was Cele's Flute recital. She and her teacher's other student did a great job. In fact, you can hear just how well they did in the video's below. Each girl performed three songs and both did a great job on all three.

Cele performing 'Orphee et Eurydice' from the Suzuki Flute book 3

Grandma and Grandpa Brown were able to come to the recital along with Mom, Dad, and Grandma Eiko

Then there is all the time we make to play with the third member of our family. She's been with us almost a year now and boy has she grown. Still a very energetic and happy puppy. Most of the time she's lots of fun.

And then there is my home away from home. The infamous Subway. Good times are to be had at work or I think we'd all loose our minds!

And that's all for now folks. The move is done, though there are still boxes to be unpacked. Life is getting back to normal and summer and Cele's rehearsal schedule plods on in all this lovely heat.
