A Second Journey through Cache Valley
Here are week two's field trip pictures. This has actually been really fun for me. Cele even got in on the action and helped me take a few pictures, mainly those of Sardine since I was driving. I promise to post an update on our lives but just know that it is all school and work these days. So, until then, enjoy some more fun pictures of beautiful Cache Valley!

A Little Peak at Cache Valley
So this year for my Utah Geography class, we have to go on a weekly fieldtrip around our homes and take at least 5 pictures portraying the concepts covered in that weeks topic. Since this means I get to take fun pictures of a beautiful valley, I figured I would share them with you, without the technical jargon! Enjoy!

Summer Fun
While I haven't had my camera with me a lot lately nor time to update the blog as much as I'd like due to the pure craziness that is our lives, this summer has been rather full, filled with fun activities including:
Aunt Alisha's baby shower
Me holding my niece Kaylin
Alisha with one of her shower gifts for her baby Emmalin
Alisha's loot
( I would also like to point out that we now have three new family members on the Brown side. The first two little girls for the family and one more little boy to join the pack. One more little girl will be joining us in October. The family is continuously growing with all manner of cute nieces/nephews - or rather cousins in Cele's case)
24th of July Fireworks at Willow Park
And, of course, Cele and the Opera
Tosca!!!
Cele and our friend Laura after a night at the Opera
Just mom 'nd me!
Two crazy friends!
Cele as an Italian Choirboy
All of the 'Choirboys'
More true to themselves!
So that's all for now. In the next two weeks, school gets back in session for both of us and Cele gets to start her first year of High School.

Proving she's just as crazy as the rest of us
Well maybe not crazy but certainly true to part of her parentage. Maya, our dog, got to REALLY dig for the first time today. Living in the city makes it kinda hard for her, but she found a sand pit and went to town. Yes the hole she's in she made herself. Silly puppy.

Family Reunions, Flute Recitals, Puppy Playtime, and A little bit of Work
In betwixt all of our packing and moving, Celestra and I have managed to have a few adventures as well. First up was the Anderson-Lowe annual family reunion at Crystal Hot Springs. This year we were only able to attend Friday night due to Cele's rehearsal schedule. It's always great to get together with that side of the family, even if wind did try to ruin all the fun!
The Anderson Clan
Next up was Cele's Flute recital. She and her teacher's other student did a great job. In fact, you can hear just how well they did in the video's below. Each girl performed three songs and both did a great job on all three.
Cele performing at her recital
Robyn performing 'Can you feel the love tonight' from 'Lion King'
Cele performing 'Orphee et Eurydice' from the Suzuki Flute book 3
Grandma and Grandpa Brown were able to come to the recital along with Mom, Dad, and Grandma Eiko
Then there is all the time we make to play with the third member of our family. She's been with us almost a year now and boy has she grown. Still a very energetic and happy puppy. Most of the time she's lots of fun.
Cele and Maya having fun together
Our Maya
And then there is my home away from home. The infamous Subway. Good times are to be had at work or I think we'd all loose our minds!

one month of happenings
So I realize it's been over a month since our last entry and, sadly, it doesn't mean things have been quiet and we haven't had things to tell everyone about. In fact its quite the opposite, as usual. So here in brief synopsis are the happenings of the last month and a half.
Cele went on a choir tour to Idaho. They performed in Pocatello and Boise and played at the Shoshone waterfall.
Cele went on her schools Honor History field trip to Idaho where she was joined by several of her friends and had a ball.
She even got to play fun games that the pioneers would have played
We had Choir fest with seven other choirs from around Utah and Idaho - 215 voices strong for the mass choir~!
The kids also got to work with guest conductor and composer Rolo Dillworth. They absolutely loved him, just ask Cele!
Band-o-Rama happened once again and Cele decided to 'let' me take a few pictures of her with some of her friends after the concert
Cele and her best friend Erika after Band-o-Rama
And then Cele got asked to play for honors solo and ensemble night at the middle school
So, Yep its been another whirlwind month (or so) for us. The summer should be a little quieter though since Cele 'only' has Opera (she's performing in Tosca with UFOC) and Vocal Performance Camp.
